Christmas 2009

My two little elves, trying to pass the time before the fun begins!

Decorating cookies for Santa.

We had some friends over from the ward to be our "family" since ours live so far away. We had a fun time, wish my house would fit more people...but I think we will make it a yearly tradition! It sure helped the day go my faster! We did a little nativity play with all the kids. They did a good job!

That night after we read the Scriptures the boys about a gift from each other, then the traditional PJ gift. Now that is brotherly love!

Tyler got on the roof, in the rain, to sprinkle the reindeer food up there. He is such a good dad!

The Before shot...that is the stuff Santa left.

Santa only takes one bit of each cookies...must be watching his weight! Or is just really full from all the other cookies!

The before shot of the tree.

Luke opening what he asked Santa for, "a monster truck that turns into a man." Santa brought a Transformer and that seemed to be just what he wanted!

Isaac opening his "Transformer head." He has been very consistent with his list this year and has been asking for this helmet for months.

They love the walking talkies they got from their Uncle Kyle and Aunt Jessy!

Don't you just love seeing looks like this on your children's faces!

Isaac chose this for his friends birthday party and was really reluctant to give it up. So we went out and got it for him last minute. He was so excited, "This is just want I wanted, THANK YOU MOMMY!"

The after picture!

We spent the morning relaxing and playing...darts stuck to the window...I'm sure this will be a common sight at our house now.

My favorite present...a white Christmas, our first since moving to St. Louis.

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! Wishing you a Happy New Year!
