We had a very fun Easter weekend. On Saturday, we went to Six Flags. After a years hiatus, we decided to get season passes again. It was a lot of fun. Last time we had passes, Isaac was only 18 months old, so he can do a lot more now. We are looking forward to spending lots of time there this summer. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure! :)

Ready for a fun day!

The kids liked meeting all the characters, even though they had no idea who most of them where. Loony Tunes cartoons don't play on PBS kids, so they haven't seen them!

Wait, you're too young to be driving a car!

The Scooby-Doo ride.
Isaac really liked this ride, because he got to shoot all the monsters in it.

Luke was tall enough by one inch to ride some roller coasters this year. Here he is on his first one, kind of. You can just see his feet. But he had a blast. Tyler is excited because now he has a roller coaster buddy!

Isaac rode the carousel while Luke rode his first roller coaster.

Obviously a favorite!

They both liked this ride. This was the first year that Luke got how to pull the bar back to make the plane fly.

Isaac got worried on this ride whenever Tyler would spin the balloon.

As you can tell Isaac DID NOT like this ride. He was holding on like that the whole time and whenever Luke started to spin it, he would scream. I guess he doesn't like spinning rides, but like his Mom.

This was Isaac's FAVORITE ride. He went on it about 25 times, over and over, while Luke rode the Screaming Eagle 5 or 6 times with Daddy. That was Luke's favorite ride. Tyler said he was laughing the whole time and kept asking to ride it again and again. Luckily there was no line. He is still talking about it.
On Sunday we had Stake Conference. It was the one that they broadcast from Salt Lake for many states, so we got to hear Elder Oaks and President Monson speak. It was a great conference.

We invited our friends the Bluemel's over after Church for dinner and an egg hunt. 5 excited and happy boys soon to be on a sugar high!

All the "loot." I am definitely biased, but aren't those the two cutest boys ever!
What a haul! Except Luke doesn't like chocolate. Which means there is more to tempt Mom with. Not a good thing! I'm not sure why he was so excited to find his chocolate bunny, since as I previously said, he doesn't like chocolate.

This is serious business folks. Isaac was one determined kid-he was very into the hunt. And he does like chocolate-a lot. Ask his grandma and papa Erickson. Remember Thanksgiving?
Overall, we had a very fun Easter weekend. We ended the day with a lesson and Easter movie. Luke is very curious about the Resurrection, wondering how Jesus got up to heaven (Did he fly, were there stairs?) but it is wonderful to see him and Isaac learning about our Savior, and wonderful to celebrate the most glorious and important event in all of history.

Looks like it was a fun weekend for the Erickson's. Brenton isn't a chocolate fun either, unless it has peanut butter in it.
Children make the holidays more special. It looks like your family had a great Easter Weekend!
What fun! I am glad you had a good Easter.
Looks like loads of fun! I can't wait to see you in May! 34 more days!
