A conversation with my kids

Luke: "A kid in my class has a quarter and says that means she is rich."

Me: (thinking this would be good teaching moment about what is really important) "I'm rich too."

Luke: "You are?" (He obviously didn't believe me!)

Me: "Yes, I am rich because I have the gospel, a husband who loves me, three awesome boys, and a wonderful family."

Luke: "Ohhhh, right!" (He had caught on.)

Isaac: "Wait, you paid money for all that!"
