Tyler had a week off in between his last day of his old job and the first day of his new one, so we took the opportunity to take a little vacation to Chicago, just me and him. It was a wonderful, fun, and romantic week. It was nice to spend so much time together before he started his new job and would be gone most of the week.
Here we are in front of Lake Michigan.
View from the Chicago Skydeck (formerly known as Sears Tower)
This is the main office of Accretive who Tyler now works for.
We spent one day museum hopping. We went to Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, and the Art Institute.
The Art Institute was cool. There were several pictures I recognized, like this one...
We also had a ton of fun just walking around the city and seeing the sites. This was one of our favorites, "The Bean" in Millennium Park. I had a blast taking some cool pictures of it.
These are just a few of them. I took way more than this, but I won't bore you with them.
And some more sightseeing...
Tyler wanted to take the train to Wrigley Field, just to look at it. It is a dump! Really! I was amazed at how small it is! Busch Stadium is WAAAAY better...but then, so are the Cardinals!
We thought it was so funny that the building behind the outfield have bleachers built on them...
And we ate at yummy restaurants...here we are at the famous Ginos East waiting for some Chicago style pizza.
It was a great vacation! Love you Tyler!
