Since the 4th was one a Sunday this year it felt like we were celebrating all weekend. We started off by going to a drive in on Friday. It was so fun! We saw Toy Story 3 again, which the kids love and stayed for the second movie, The Karate Kid. Isaac actually made it through the whole 2nd movie, but Luke was conked out by midnight.
We also had a picnic in the park, a BBQ, watched fireworks with friends, and set off our own fireworks.

Overall it was a really fun 4th of July!A few days later Tyler and I went to see Wicked at the Fox theater. It was so awesome! Great music, great show, and even better company. It was a fun date!
So far our July has been pretty awesome!

Love Luke's spiderman slippers! =)The 4th was pretty quiet for us. We could have gone to the high school to watch the fireworks, but we prefer to watch from our yard. We're getting old =\. I've never seen Wicked! Sometime we'll have to go! Glad you had the opportunity.
Sounds like lots of fun - how was The Karate Kid? I'm assuming it was the new one.
